It only felt appropriate to choose “How To Be A Person” by Shane Koyczan and the Short Story Long as the first poem to celebrate National Poetry Month. I heard the recording earlier in March and fell in love with it. Whether it’s Koyczan’s skill to weave words into a beautiful message or his soothing voice, I cannot tell you for certain.
