I don’t even own a car, must less have a driver’s license. That still doesn’t deter the agents of junk mail from slaughter a couple of trees in my honor. But I want to ask the people at Security First what exactly was spinning in their heads when they decided to use “GR8 R8T” as their pitch to me. First off, I think it’s cute how they mixed letters and numbers to make words. Clever, it really is. But what’s with the extra ‘t’ in R8T? The ‘r’ and the ‘8’ alone already make the sound rate. Why add another ‘t’? Now it’s all skewed. Great Ra-tuh-tuh. It sounds like a Jeff Dunham sketch.
Secondly, I love the way they opted to make a personal weblink just for me – using my nickname rather than my real one. Gr8 going guys.

While we’re already on the subject, I get a lot of spam. It’s to be expected with any blog. Especially one on WordPress (no offense, but Blogger never had a problem with the spam). I like to cap the ones that get my attention. Can you tell who the lucky winner is this week?
There was something else that I wanted to write about, but it slipped my mind. Fuck it, I’m going back to bed now. Or maybe finish off reading Body Double by Tess Gerritsen. Man, I love her writing.
